A...Well done on the run Megan :) Glad you went out.
AAAAND, there is nothing wrong with a vegemite sandwich after the run, because the carbs will refuel your muscles, there is no hard and fast rule that you MUST have protein.
In fact, High GI foods are recommended to replace your glycogen faster. So don't feel bad.
I used to eat toasted cheese sandwiches on white bread after training, and that's what the dietician wanted me to do!! :)

My two dogs look really fierce too. Shelby (female) is a Kelpie/German Shepherd cross, and she's very protective of me. Barks as soon as someone walks up the driveway, but out of the lead she really couldn't care less unless someone touches me...
Snowy (male) on the other hand, he's a White Shepherd/Husky cross, and you never hear a peep out of him, unless he's immitating morning birds.
But he's more likely to scare people, because he gets just SO excited to see people that he runs at them full belt because he loves them so much. Same with dogs.
They are both pretty well behaved though, lol.Fat for a Triathletehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14096286119242252260noreply@blogger.com
